I have a bachelors degree in English Literature from UCLA and I am certified to teach Language Arts to grades 7-12. I received a 3.8 GPA in my major and a 4.0 GPA in my education certificate program.
Experience
I have worked as an Education Director of C2 Education Centers, where I tutored and developed curriculum. I helped students with homework as well as standardized test preparation. I have also privately tutored students in the areas of ESL, English literature, and writing. I love helping students find new insights and abilities as they study literature and writing. By identifying themes that students relate to, I help students with comprehension and interpretation. By asking thoughtful questions, I encourage students to express their own connections about the stories they study.
