Experience
As a tutor I have worked with elementary, middle school, high school and college students, helping with reading comprehension and retention, writing (including college essays and special projects), critical thinking, study and organizational skills, homework. The one-to-one relationship of tutoring creates an opportunity to better know a student's individual needs and work together to meet those needs for both increased skills and more confidence. As a teacher I have taught Communication classes such as Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication in several colleges and universities in the Bay Area, mostly at CCSF. I give communication-related classes to adults at UC Berkeley Extension.
